At GestureOS, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

1. Information We Collect

To provide our core gesture control and bulk dialing features, we collect and process the following information:

  • Account Data: Your Name, Mobile Number, and Password (used for account creation and OTP verification).
  • Gesture Data: The custom gestures you draw (screen coordinates), their assigned shortcut names, and the actions they trigger.
  • Contacts Access (Local): We request read-only access to your Contacts so you can assign phone numbers to gestures and load contact profile pictures. We do not upload your entire address book to our servers.
  • Storage and Files (Local): We request access to your device storage to allow you to import Excel (.xlsx/.csv) files for the Bulk Dialer feature and to select custom profile pictures.
  • System Overlay & App Usage (Android Only): We request System Alert Window permissions to display the floating gesture trigger over other apps, and Usage Stats to display your recently used applications.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the GestureOS application.
  • Synchronize your custom gestures and bulk dialer sessions securely across your devices via our cloud backend.
  • Process secure login authentications via One-Time Passwords (OTP).
  • Manage your premium subscriptions and payment status.
  • Allow the immediate execution of device actions (such as turning on the flashlight, launching apps, or dialing numbers) directly from your screen gestures.

3. Third-Party Services

We do not sell your data. Our app integrates with trusted third-party services strictly to provide application functionality:

  • Twilio: Used to send secure SMS OTPs during account registration and login.
  • Razorpay: Used to securely process premium subscription payments.
  • Apple In-App Purchases: Used to manage subscriptions if purchased directly through the iOS App Store.

These services may collect information according to their own privacy policies to process transactions and deliver messages securely.

4. Subscription Information

Some advanced features (such as unlimited gestures and the Bulk Dialer) require a premium subscription.

  • Payments are processed securely through Razorpay or Apple’s App Store.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Users can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime through the GestureOS App settings or their Apple ID account settings.

5. Data Security and Deletion

We implement industry-standard security measures, including password hashing and SSL/TLS encryption for all API communications, to protect your data.

You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time directly from the Settings -> Delete Account menu within the app.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new app features. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
